Whenever I try to burn an audio cd using Nero, my cd writer makes a lot of noise. Observing the process carefully for some time revealed that noise is generated only at the end of each track. Anyways, I tried to find a a fix for this, and here’s the step by step solution to the problem- Step 1 . Go to System Properties>Device Manager and select IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Step 2 . Double click on the CD writer IDE channel and select advance setting. Step 3 . In the advanced settings dialog, change the transfer mode to ‘PIO Only’. Step 4 . Restart the computer. That’s it. No more irritating noise now. Enjoy!

Now this is I recently came across with. Its quite interesting :) Do tell me what you think of this. So this new year instead of making all those "Promises" I'm gonna start this new blog. :) Well The idea has been around for quite some time. But I really didn't had enough time and more importantly the enthusiasm to get through it. But...Looks like it had to start :D So here I am. I'm not quite sure whether I'll be able to maintain this blog as a diary of all my thoughts and ramblings or will this become a junkyard of all my "technical" rants. But then again...we shall see :) So next is my first technical post :0
